A Personalized Story With Your Child's Name
Kids light up when they hear their own name in a story. But the best personalized story isn't a template with a name pasted in. It's a story written around your child: their age, the things they love, the people in their life.
More than a name swap
Many personalized books take one fixed story and swap in your child's name. That's fun for a minute, but the story is the same for every kid. Children notice when a "personalized" story doesn't really know them.
A Winktale story is created for your child each time. You tell us:
- their name and age, so the language and length fit;
- their look, from a photo or a description;
- what they love, like dinosaurs, horses, space, soccer, drawing or music;
- who should be there, like a sibling, a best friend, grandparents or the family dog (up to five in a Big story);
- a theme or a lesson, if you'd like one.
The story is built around all of that, so the name is just the beginning. A child who loves trucks gets a story with trucks in it. A child with a baby brother and a beagle named Biscuit gets a story where Biscuit helps save the day. If you'd like the hero to look like your child too, add a photo or a short description.
Why hearing their name matters
A young child's name is one of the first words they recognize, and hearing it in a story grabs their attention instantly. Personalized stories can:

Creating a story is free, including the cover, the full text and the first illustrated pages. If you love it, you pay once to keep it. There's no subscription. Every story includes narration, a video version and a PDF, in English, German or Spanish.
